Time for tea, hi-tea with a variety of delicious fruit tartlets.  They look so realistic you want to eat them all!

The tea cosy pattern is suitable to fit a 4-6 cup tea pot.  The cosy is knitted flat, but bring out your crochet hooks and make the tartlet casing and all the fruits and custard and cream and jam.
The fruit consist of various berries, goosberries, rasberries, blueberries, kiwi slices, banana slices and strawberries.  Some are topped up with a mint leaf

What you need
Tea Cosy:             50g Double Knit (DK/8ply) of Medium Brown;  Small amount of Dark Brown & Caramel Brown
Tarts:                    Casing: 50g DK in Beige & Filling Custard/Jam: Small amount of Yellow|Red|Navy|White
Fruit:                     Small amount of DK – White|Red|Olive Green|Lime Green|Navy|Cream|Yellow|Orange|Brown
Knitting Needles, Single Pointed:  2.75mm(US: C/D 2/3,  UK: 12)  
Crochet Hooks:  Size 2.75 (US: C/D 2 ,  UK: 11) Crochet hook
Yarn Needle
Small amount of toy stuffing
Scissors & tweezers for stuffing

Measurements when completed (approximate)
Approximately (folded flat down on table):  Bottom to top, excluding doily:  16cm (6 1/4ins),
Horizontally midway: 19cm (7½ ins)

Gauge:  Stocking stitch using Double knit yarn:     22 stitches x   29 rows = 10cm x 10cm (4ins x 4ins)
